Torsten’s passion for travel began right after finishing high school, when he spent many hours at Zurich Airport, gazing at the faces of arriving and departing travelers and imagining the vast world beyond. After several backpacking trips through South America and a long cycling tour across Colombia, he knew he wanted to live there. That was over 25 years ago. Today, Torsten still lives in Bogotá with his wife and three children. When he’s not working on sustainable travel experiences in Colombia, you can find him on the football or tennis court.
